Deanna Cope, LMFT Is a licensed marriage and family therapist and art therapist who believes in a holistic and eclectic approach to therapy, utilizing alternative healing modalities as needed, including expressive arts therapy, dream analysis and traditional talk therapy to provide healing, based on her clients’ needs.
Deanna has been in the mental health field since 1998 with experience in the child welfare system, community based services, education, group homes, the judicial system, and inpatient hospital settings. Her work has been primarily with children and adolescents, as well as individuals and families who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, suicidal ideation and behavioral issues, among other life challenges.
She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at USC and her Master’s degree in Art Therapy and Marital and Family Therapy from Notre Dame de Namur University. With compassion, creativity and empathy, Deanna strives to provide a safe space to help others find their strengths and light within themselves to grow and heal.
