Jeffrey Langer is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, who enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families. After completing his Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Development from Pacific Oaks University, Jeffrey earned a Master of Arts degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Brandman University.
Jeffrey’s therapeutic approach is to provide support and counseling to help clients effectively address the challenges they face in their lives. He combines traditional complementary methodologies and current research to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. Jeffrey is committed to assisting individuals to build on their existing strengths to bring hope and healing, meet their goals, and improve their quality of life. Since Jeffrey believes that progress not only takes place in the therapy room, but also in everyday life experiences, he seeks to inspire clients by empowering, educating, and encouraging their potentials.
With over 15 years working with children and transitional aged youth in education and foster care, Jeffrey’s professional experience includes providing behavioral support for children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral challenges in both school and home settings, crisis intervention and Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS) for students receiving Special Education services. Additionally, he has experience working with clients with drug and alcohol rehabilitation challenges. Jeffrey enjoys bringing hope to his clients by building trust, unconditional positive regard and a non-judgmental therapeutic relationship.
