Susan Pomeranz, PhD, LMFT

Susan has been a therapist for over 40 years and has come to realize that there are no cookie-cutter therapies that can be applied overall to human beings. She offers you a unique and personalized approach to healing, and works with high functioning adults who want to make a real change.

Susan is holistic, collaborative and solution oriented in her approach. She specializes in anxiety, eating disorders, all life transitions and relationships. She uses a vast array of skills that she’s been trained in; cognitive behavioral therapy, the biology of addiction, attachment theory, art therapy, mindfulness, the mind/body/spirit connection, transpersonal psychology, as well as hold certifications in yoga and tai chi.

Susan is a published author, has written weekly columns in Ventura County, and holds workshops and seminars for therapists on burnout, and compassion fatigue throughout the United States.
She has lectured at UCLA School of Psychology as well as Antioch University.

In her spare time, she loves art, design, and creates environments and murals. Her happy place is being with her family.
